Jamnabai Narsee School plays a fundamental role in moulding the students for Secondary and Senior Secondary School. The Middle School (Std. 6 to 8) and Secondary School (Std. 9 and 10) is a transition channel of intellectual and emotional curiosity. This is a time of sensitivity, expectation, assertion and questioning. Keeping this in mind, teachers design the curriculum to meet children's varied intellectual and developmental needs.

'Graded learning' provides experiences to the students relevant to their strengths, needs and interests. After Std. 7, parents have the option to continue with Secondary schooling at JNS or opt for the IGCSE Programme at JNIS.

In Std. 8, 9 and 10 the Student Council is entrusted with the role of leadership. Keeping in mind the ethos of the school, 'teamwork' is the most important mantra for effective management . 'Team bonding' forms a close personal relationship through frequent and constant association. Therefore 'team bonding' is a requisite for 'team building'- You have to place trust in your team members.

The secondary school provides a holistic programme of study designed to meet the educational requirements of students aged 14-16. It includes a broad-based curriculum framework which encourages students to question, evaluate and to think critically and independently. Apart from academics, students are also expected to partake in Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) as well as community service, through reputed NGOs. Students of Std. 8-12 are offered the Mindler Career Guidance Platform to give them the opportunity to learn about their aptitude and interests.

They are also offered the opportunity to participate in the Each One Teach One Programme. It is a social outreach programme that helps teach our students the core values of empathy, charity and compassion.

EUMIND (Europe Meets India) is a holistic programme designed for the Secondary and Senior Secondary School to exchange and share views and ideas with partner schools in order to understand social and cultural backgrounds at the international level.

The pupils of Std. 9 and 10 are prepared for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi.
