NCC and Bharat Scouts and Guides

The National Cadet Corps is a voluntary organization. The minimum age limit for school students to join the NCC as junior cadets is 13.

The NCC Parade is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The main aims of this organization are to develop in youth the qualities of character, courage, camaraderie, discipline, secular outlook, and spirit of adventure, sportsmanship, and selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens who can serve their country effectively and passionately. The NCC also aims to train and motivate youth, to facilitate leadership qualities in every sphere of life including the Armed Forces and to empower them to be ready to serve their nation.

An ATC camp is held every year for the second-year cadets. These candidates are trained in drill, shooting, physical fitness, map reading, first aid and gliding/- flying. This camp training covers nearly all the basics of military training in the armed forces.

The Bharat Scouts & Guides is a voluntary educational movement for young people, open to all in accordance with the purpose, principles and method conceived by the Founder Lord Baden- Powell in 1907. The purpose of the Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national, and international communities.

Jamnabai Narsee School offers Scouts and Guides activities based on their interests. An adventure camp is conducted in an outdoor setting in contact with nature. Scouts and Guides participate in the March Past during the Annual Athletic Meet. On completion of 'Pravesh', they are conferred with a scarf and the Bharat Scout and Guide badge.
